Day of walking for the mamas

The boys went for a bike ride to the horse stables. Us mamas walked ourselves there. Beautiful scene.
Walked by the airport, lots of cool airplanes there and even caught a coyote walking along the runway. It's in the picture but very hard to make out.
After about 3.5 miles we're here. Beautiful miniature horses...
Gabo had a great time feeding hay to the horse.
On the other side of the field Sol was practicing his skills.
Holding steady. Gabo had a great time riding on his horse, Houdini.
After all that the kids were pooped. They were getting cozied up!
Mario's getting mentally ready for 5k. Focus grasshopper!

Here we are.....

So after the 6 hr drive the day before the sun was shining so the kids forgot about the long ride.
Cousin Alejandro picked up on the razor pretty fast.
Uncle JC and Mario rented some kid carriers. They loved it.
After hours and hours of walking and napping the kids couldn't pass up the bouncy house.
After that more running and chasing.....
A little movie before bed and all is good!

Road Trip to Sunriver

After about 3 hours, the kids were ready for lunch and some ice cream so there we stopped at the DQ.
They were in heaven for about a minute and Sol's 20th question, "How many more hours?" we still had 3 hrs to go. Yikes.....
Through the forest (big forest fire jumped the road a few years ago and the burnt remains are still visible)
By the mountain
Almost there...oh, a corvette, the kids favorite car.

Happy Father's Day!

So, after breakfast in west seattle (bakery and farmers market) and after looking for the car keys for about 90 minutes we finally made it to the edmonds art festival. first stop, brownie sundae. yum!
Great metal works. Great seats for the back year!
So, after all the fun, Sol couldn't wait for his dad to open all the gifts that we made and bought him. The reveal was at the Shell gas station.....exciting! First item, sumo wrestling game!
Second, an original drawing from mama B
Third, an original from Sol.
Keep opening.....some LPs and a landscaping book! Get to work honey!

This is one of the beautiful treasures Mario found. I can't stop looking at it. Mario talked with the artist. His work was just breath taking!
from the trip to the farmers market, Sol in the process of finishing the pound of cherries we bought. yikes.....hope he doesn't get a tummy ache.
a little SUMO and call it a good night!

Space Saturday

Trying to fly the space shuttle at the flight museum.
space rock
lots of helicopters in the parking lot. an organization for women pilots....very cool!
This huge copter can carry may cars.....the boys got to go inside and take a look.

While touring the copters, Sol spotted the plane above and couldn't keep his eyes off of it.
He almost fainted.

After about 7 hours of working on his hoiste, we finally got a catch, Arjenn!
Testing the weight limitations. It held a 80lb kid...hmmmmm
Next up is a 150lb man, still holding up...now will it hold the hard top?
Snack break after running around all day and helping dad with the hoiste installation.
Little love for mama B.
Now, let's show them our newest catch of the day!
Man, the kids had a blast just getting hoisted up. Cool toy!
