Mario finally got to make some huckleberry muffins. We picked these about 2 weeks ago in the 37 degree weather. They were sure tasty!
So Mario and Sol were training our hobo hamsters for the Petco Hamster Race in about 2 weeks.
Except Sol didn't want to put them down to roll around.

For those who didn't know, Mario was accepted into the I-School at the UW. He will be starting classes on September 19. It's an executive program so he will be going to school on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. He was so excited we went to visit the UW campus.

#3 Andre Schmid the forward for the Seattle Sounders. He was our guest speaker. The kids had no idea who he was. I didn't either.....I just looked him up the the sounders web page. Just realized that all the players on the team weren' t born before 1972 and most were born in the mid 80's. Man...can you say I Feel Old?
After all the dust settled...Tink (Sol's coach) is back there trying to pull out all the raffle ticket $. Hard work....
