Time to Salsa!

The dance teacher was trying to teach the kids how to salsa. Mario was trying to show Sol the booty shake, he thought that was way too funny.
Again...Ricky Martin watch out!

Gabo was shaking his money maker too!

Portland Zoo

Penguin city.
The sea lions were just having a great time just showing their swimming skills. The kids were just all about them.

This is the big big big polar bear!

A little comparison. The polar bear there was about 6 feet tall and about 1100 lbs. He was way too big!
We saw the sun bears and Sol was just about their size.

These were very fascinating. Don't ask me what type of a primate it is but this was the male. After he got this picture taken he turned his back towards us and gave us his ass.

Next exhibit. It's franklin the turtle :)

This big fella was just a doll. Big!

Portland is way cool. They had these trash compactors at the zoo. It had a solar panel on top and it basically does what a regular home compactors does.
Love the zebras. This one decided not to move for about 5 minutes.

My favorite animal!

These bats were way too big for my comfort. They were flying all around their enclosure like crazy.

The boys were so happy to get out of the house after turkey day. They all had a great time.

Happy together.....
A the end of the zoo day the kids got to stamp there hands.

They went crazy on their hands.

After the zoo we headed to see Aunti Les and Vikki. Mario jumped on an open faced turkey sandwich. Turkey day revisited.

I just came to see the baby mama and the baby bump! Les is slowly showing....

While JC, Nicky and Mario were at the turkey day bootcamp, me and the boys were having some fun.
Phineas and Ferb was the song of the day.

After the fun Gabo fell asleep. Had a hard time waking him up for dinner.

The table was set. Oh the feta and the olives were so dman good. I needed to save room for the rest of the food.

Unvailing of the bourbon soaked turkey.

The boys were having some good turkey, cornbread stuffing, rolls, sparkling cider and some good company.
Mario burned off 1000 calories at the turkey day bootcamp so he piled it on.

Had a little room for seconds.

JC piled his plate high too.

Licked the plate clean baby!

Portland bound

So we decided to join the crowd and drive to portland. I took us about 1.5 hrs to get from federal way to olympia. It should have taken us about 30-45 minutes but oh well at least the sunset was pretty!

Soccer Pizza Party

Well the soccer season is over and now for the party. Sol's thank you card to his coach.

This is gabo's attempt at a card also. He wanted me to spell star wars for him. He did pretty good I'd say.
The pizza party was at an indoor soccer arena. Gabo and some of the little united girls playing a round of soccer.

The parents against the United boys. Mario's running so fast that he's a blurr....

Everyone in....The kids were hungry after running around for about an hour.

10 boxes of pizza...
United girls...

United boys with the exception of Gabo.

Coach Tink handing out the awards.

Gabo running with the big boys.

The loft bed makes it up to Sol's room

Piece by piece Sol's loft bed is in his room.
Testing out the ladder.

Nailing down the last of the slats.

Testing out the weight limit. I think all 48 lbs of Sol will be ok on his bed.

Now only if i could get the cover on this bed. Mario climbed right in....

A night at the UW

Mario got us tickets to go see a children's book author, Gerald McDermott. He is an award winning filmmaker, children's book author & illustrator . His books encompass folktales and cultures from all around the world. After the lecture we waited in line to get his autograph.
While we were in line, Gabo was hanging out working on his third browni. Yikes!

Finally Sol made it up to the table and Mr. McDermott is drawing a spider with Sol's name on it.

Sol's a happy boy. He really enjoyed the lecture because Mr. McDermott was saying that his job is to sit in a room and just draw and write stories. Sol couldn't believe that that was his job. Very cool lecture!
